Yawn

Yawn... feeling sleepy already, and its only 12.20am only! Well didn't cheong today cause didn't feel like it. Apparently there's this NUS related bash AGAIN at newsroom bar and khairi went. He was like asking us to go with him but nobody felt like going. Poor thing. But he went with his friends anyway. Well, i won a miserable $3 today. After playing like one whole afternoon, the biggest winner won only $5 and to think we played 20 40. Haha. For dinner, went with moi family to fiestamania at United Square. We had a really really sumptous dinner because it's my bro's birthday! Hapy Birthday Kor...

Oh after dinner, i got talked into by my mum into going Novena to help out with decorating the church. Novena's a really special church. The serenity, the century old architecture, the coziness and the island wide renowned devotion service makes Novena very unique. If fellow Catholics agree with me, Novena is like the headquarters of the Catholic arm. When people metion Novena, it's more to do with a place of strong sprituality and devout Catholics. It is said that if you want to pray for something, just go to Novena every Saturday for self devotion for 9 consecutive Saturdays one will see the light. Try it. Anyway, just found out that their RCIA classes has over 100 participants! And on good years over 200! Wow. I always thought the number of new Catholics converting are dwindling, but definitely not what i thought. I think it has got to do with my church la. My church is proclaimed a historical site and we cant do major renovations without approval from the Singapore Heritage Board Building Control Division. So my church is so run-down previously, now its not so bad after the new building came up. Still no air-con. Haiz. The society numbers are plummeting and the congregation are slipping away. Maybe it has got to do with my church being in town also, very inaccessible and far for people from other parts of Singapore. In fact, I used to go Novena when i was young. As a matter of fact, my family used to church hop but that stopped when i joined the Altar Boy's Society of St Peter & Paul. It's in ABS that i truely felt God and spent a very fufilling 11 years in that society, and would have stayed on longer if not for the age cap. A pity the society is not what it used to be. When i was first in the society, there were over 50 people and we were one strong society, with many weekly activities. Compare that of today, where the numbers are only about 19. Sad. But still, I think God has his own plans. No questions asked.

Arsenal overran Charlton 4-0. No joke. As usual. No kick.
