Juniors are here!

Well the juniors are finally here. It means its time for me to leave TRACOM! But of course not before i go OBS. Today, my course manager dropped a bombshell on us - on top of our 12 day OBS, we have another 4 days self-conducted "field camp" before the actual start of OBS. This effectively means that 3 weekends are gonewith next week being the first. Mixed feelings about it actually, because firstly i have no girlfriend and would love to go and enjoy myself. But on the other hand, it's a 16 day outfield experience which is like sooo long. Nonetheless, i'll make the best of the experience. Regarding the 4 day "field camp", it's totally self-organized by respective members of my squad. We have our own chef with food brought in, sentry duties, drinking water and bathing water brought in ourselves and also all our camping equiptment etc etc. . It's like survivor on Pulau Ubin. Dy Cmdr TRACOM is going to pay us a visit and we'll have a bbq! And i think it's going to be great. As for OBS, it's going to be in Ubin as well so altogether 16 days in Ubin. Cool huh?

Well the juniors' parents' visiting day was today. The performance put up today was so much more exciting. The k-9 unit came as well and put up a very good show. As for the usual show of Police Defensive Tatics, the senior squad which is my squad, gave an outstanding performance. The best part was 2 of my squad mates that blended into the crowd of parents. They started a quarrel and everyone was shocked. Haha. The FRC then camp and arrested the 2 punks, but it all in the name of performance. Great stuff. My juniors also had a tour of the bunk which my batch didn't have, and which my dad was so sore about. He kept emphasizing that it was his suggestion that got the police side to open up the bunks for parents to see. Haha. But the truth is that PNS decided to lend us posters and decors to brighten up the place and that's why my course manager relented. I'm sure my juniors will have a great time in TRACOM as i had in my 6 months so far there.
