I seriously think im getting better at cooking; from the taste of the food to the time needed to cook. The food is tasting better, and the time needed to prepare, wash up and clean up is getting shorter as well. This is really cooking 101, where it forces you to cook to save money. Surprisingly, more guys than girls (from Sg) here can cook. So to all those aspiring house-wives/husbands, hone your cooking skills while living overseas, because circumstances will force you to! Not to mention that you can cook for people who will happen to be complete noobs, and you get praised as well! Haha.
The S'poreans rented a car today since there were like 10 of us on our off-day. We started off the day by going to downtown Orlando. Downtown is pretty different from the area that i'm staying. It has like skyscrapers there, not that high though, but at least higher than the area around International Drive, where the tallest buildings are hotels. We ate at a chinese restaurant, and then went to a Asian supermart, where it carries all asian spices and food. Bought more asian items like oyster sauce and noodles, where its hard to find in the mainstream supermarkets here. Im sure Walmart sells, but its a little too far for me to get there. Heard there's one opening at my area soon, so hope i can catch it before i leave.
After that, we went to Downtown Disney. Disney here has like 5 different theme parks, and another area called Downtown Disney. Its an area of shops selling Disney merchandise beside a lake, and there's also an area called Pleasure Island, where it has like 7 clubs banded together, each with a different theme.
