just came back from watching fearless with my family. and i actually teared. when he was about to die. and i quickly wiped off the tears, for fear of the fact that my dad sitting beside me will laugh at me.

as i was driving out of the carpark, i saw a sight which made me cringe with pity and sadness. on the pavement selling tissues is an old blind man, balding and just squatting there waiting for what may probably be his meal of the day. it was just a glance as the car shot by, and im sure none of my family members saw it, but it was enough to leave me with so much sadness. i mean, its the 2nd day of cny at 10pm, and this blind man has to come out to sell tissues to support himself. maybe he doesnt have a choice, but i really admire his determination and i feel so sad for him. in my heart, i was saying a prayer for him. back at home, i knelt at the altar for another prayer, that God will bless and protect the man and all disabled, that admist their handicapped, they will find the courage and strength to lead this life.

i will go back to bishan to find him tomorrow.

and i realise how lucky i am, and im not going to take that for granted.
