so i read the sixth reading today at mass. some ppl said i suck, while some said i was not too bad. doesn't really bother me though. anyway the whole mass lasted 2h 35min, with baptism of several hongkies turned s'pore pr. i thought it was very draggy, but the baptism was very unique in which fr anselm baptised the converts by submerging their whole body into the water. even a 2 week old baby wasn't spared it, and poor thing, she was crying as fr submerged her into the water 3 times. and the little girl drew a loud applause from the congregation, though she most probably wouldn't even realise her bravery, or rather, she wasn't even given a choice. throughout the mass, i really feel so glad that im a catholic. im like re-born after skipping so many masses the past year. im determined to make the most of my faith now that i've rediscovered it.
rushed off to claire's chalet after mass. arrived pretty late, but i thought i should go as it's her 21st birthday. i missed mart's 21st, and im determined not to miss anymore 21st birthdays. and she is looking great. finally looking like a girl. haha. all of us in the clique were there. oh and i saw rosanne. she's still looking great - a lil short though. after that it was supper with vincent @ prata.
