Well i think CNA is really disappointing. They really report stories from the government's perspective. The recent Mas Selemat case only highlights it further. I was just watching it over din/per, and no matter what angle that they report in, it only hightlights the good side of the whole incident, that we've learnt from our mistakes, that Singaporeans are happy about the whole episode of the government being transparent. Nothing mentioned about bad leadership causing this.
One thing for sure, I feel our Home Affairs Minister should take responsibility. Singapore is one of the only countries that you will see a minister shun the responsibility when things go wrong to those under him, and still remain where is he. If they want to pay competitively like the private sector (of millions for a minister), they should take actions that would befit the money that matches the private sector. He should take responsibility and resign. Period.
