These past few days being in the Island Suite for the high network people has taught me many lessons. Overall, i would say the Boat Show was an eye opener. I mean, i have never heard of it, and would never hear of it - not in the near future anyway - if i was not asked to work in the event.
Well i was poorly paid, but the fringe benefits more than made up for it. Having island shop tops and bottoms, cabs to and from work, exquisite finger food meant not for us obviously, and champagnes and wines! Not to mention the freeflow movenpick ice cream, and the free paulaner beers thanks to the relationship we struck up with the beer lady.
These intense 4 days have found me many new close-bonded friendships, and being so ever sentimental, i miss everyone already.
