hmm.. here's what i've been doing since the ever long awaited ORD date..

Went to Bintan with my family for the weekend. We landed up playing mahjjong most of the time. We rented the welfare villa, and it even came with a buggy! So wherever we went, we zipped around in the wonderfully bald-tire-buggy. And there was the wonderful beach with lots of sandflies. But the sand was beautifully white and "soft".

I have the most amazing mum. She once again generously financed my trip to Hong Kong. The flight there was great! thanks to the upgrade to business class on cathay pacific. but the worst thing happened after. because the seat was so spacious, somehow my digi camera dropped onto the floor, and it spoiled! on the first day, well not even the first day, but the first hour! so no photos from this trip..

Well got to stay in Shangri-la kowloon for the first 2 nights, after which we stayed at an apartment for the remaining 2 nights. Shopping isnt that great, mainly because things are quite highly priced. But it got better as we got to ladies street and fa yuen street, much like the night markets in taiwan, where you can bargain as much as 50% of the price.

Went up to the peak as well, but it was super cloudy, so we couldnt see much. But we went to the walk of starts by the channel, and what a skyline. The skyline stretches for like 180degrees from Kowloon, and our timing was so nice that we got to catch the lights parade from the top of the many sky scrapers.
