I'm a LEGAL driver

Finally, no more fear of driving on the expressway/road and feeling paranoid at every other vehicle (some of you may know what im talking about). I finally got my license! After passing my final theory on the fifth try, twice failing and twice forgetting to go, and waiting for about 4 months for my TP, it has finally reached my hands - the coveted license to drive.

For those of you curious as to how many demerit points i received, i got 16. And i struck the curb at the crank course. See how lucky i must be. But thanks to the tester as well, he was lenient with me.

(Crank Course filled with cars as i entered)

(At the final bend in the crank course)
Instructor eyeing my rear left wheel as i turned at the final turn
As i turned, i struck the curb.

Tester: (immediately turns around and shouts) STRIKE CURB!

Me: (Jerks up and after taking in the gravity of that mistake, lets out a loud sigh)

Tester: (looks at me smugly) Strike curb ar

Me: (slowly nod my head)

1/2 way to failing my TP

It was actually quite funny, if it weren't for me being in a driving test, to see the instructor turning around shouting so loudly i would have laughed out.

After that i must have appeared nervous as he gave me specific instructions to go here or there and double and thriple checked his instructions to me.

A near flwaless run on the road helped me attain the coveted license. And a real big thanks to Celine, for being so fearless and having such confidence in me - the ONLY one to have such faith in me when no one else would have done so.

(At the de-brief)

Tester: So you strike curb ar..

Me: (nods head again)

Tester: So, you made several mistakes. Blah, blah..

Me: (My mind was really in a blank, the prospect of waiting another 3 mths for the next test is quite demoralising, and i just nodded at everything he said while appearing quite sad. After the de-brief, i was thinking back, and i realised that i didnt even absorb a word of what the tester said about my mistakes. )

Finally, after announcing all my mistakes, and emphasizing to me that he did not deduct 8 points from me for failing to confirm safety (which im so thankful for), ....

Tester: Do you know you cannot control the car in the circuit? I thought that you also cant control the car on the road, but eh, on the road you're okay what. If you cannot control the car on the road i also won't give it to you.

With that, he turned around and ticked, PASSED.
