In Europe

Im currently in Copenhagen, Denmark, and i finally found a free internet connection! Finally no need to pay so much for just a few minutes each time.

Anyway this should be my 13th day in Europe already. The first 5 days organised by Prudential in Prague was interesting, coupled by the fact that we stayed at The Hilton. There was the picturesque Old Town Square in central Prague, where everything is just so ancient and beautiful. The astronomical clock is there are well, as is st nicholas church. Then there's the Charles Bridge, built in the 14 century and is still standing today. Along the bridge there's this statues of saints and angels and Jesus, and in the background there's Prague castle, so everyone justs stops to take pictures there.

Prague basically is still very ancient. Can you imagine cobblestone roads? And the buildings are mainly set in gothic styled, and also most of the buildings have elaborate carvings on them. Prague is mainly a catholic country, so all across you can find churches, some set in renaissance styles and others the more gothic styled as churches are built throughout the different periods of time.
And then there's their metro service. Dogs, beers and shirtless people are allowed onto their trains. Its a very open concept, and there's no gantry points and it is up to you to be honest if you want to pay for your train ride.
Beer in Prague is cheaper than water, so the locals always say if you want to save money, might as well bathe in beer. I've been drinking alot in Prague, cause thats the only thing that is cheap. Haha.

After that its on to Paris where we spent 2 nights. Went to the Lourve to see the mona lisa but guess what? The lourve is closed on Tuesdays. What rotten luck. The effiel tower was magnificant, and you just got to be there to believe the immensity of the structure. Went to the top on surprisingly, relatively new and smooth evalevators. Basically, we were on free and easy in Paris, so we took the metro. The metro in Paris has the most extensive network i think in the world! They have over 20 lines and more than 100 stops just in Paris alone, and it sure dwarfs S'pore's MRT, which i thought was already good.

After that it was on to Lourdes for a prilgrimage. If you are a catholic, you should go there, for the atmosphere for prayer and religious reflection is perfect. There's the nightly procession to Our Lady of Lourdes, where people in wheel chairs and even hospital beds attend! There's also the holy baths, where lots of people soak in it, for Mary told St. bernadette to wash and bathe in the waters. Also, there's tens of masses a day, all in different languages, from French to Spanish to English.

Then we were on to Lond0n, where we stayed for a night before starting the Trafalgar tour of Scandinavia. I've passed Calais in france, the Netherlands, stayed a night in Brussels and also a night in Hamburg, and i'll spend 2 nights here in Copenhagen.

I just dont feel like going back to work.
