Sheesha

Anyway the interesting thing i was talking about is sheesha. Basically, the shisha (another form of spelling), also known as hubbly-bubble in the arab countries, is a small packet containing a rolled tobacco leaf, a little molasses, and apple flavor. In my case, it was mixed fruits flavour, consisting of strawberry, grapes and apples and bananas. This small package of flavor is placed in a water pipe under a burning charcoal made from the wood of a citrus tree. When inhaled, the smoke passes through a container of water inside the pipe (which makes a quiet, relaxing bubbling sound) to cool the smoke. The cool, flavored smoke is generally puffed or inhaled deeply to obtain the maximum effect of flavor. Later on, we found that that by changing the water to another liquid, the effect would be different. So, being the curious sort, we changed it to Sarsi.

After we got bored, we just went over to caesar's opposite bugis to take some beer. Following that, i spilt with the group of 5 and went back to hougang to meet vincent and andrea for supper.

Today i was a servant boy, following my mum around on her errands, carrying things for her and give her tips while she shops. haha. It's quite fun though, for i haven't been out with mum shopping for quite some time. It certainly helps in bonding. My mum was saying that i'll be a more refined person in future now that i'm an officer and i'd get to interact with high-powered people, while my dad said that i'd be more self-centered. So which is which?
